GORE® Universal Pipe Gaskets (Style 800) can be used to seal the various standard flange connections in the chemical industry. Whether they are made of steel, enamelled steel or synthetic material, the GORE® Universal Pipe Gasket is suitable. This makes the GORE® Universal Pipe Gasket Style 800 ideal to standardize.
Thanks to the unique design, the seal properties are excellent. During the design, the requirements made for various flange materials were taken along in the draft. Due to this a seal with 100% expanded PTFE with very good sealing ability has been created.
Properties such as a well maintained application, low required surface pressure, high resistance against crawl, high blown-out safety and chemical resistance are important for the good functioning of a gasket. By using the GORE® Universal Pipe Gasket as a standard, reduction in the total costs can be a realisation.
