Uncomplicated and environmental-friendly insulation up to 1000°C
Insulation is necessary. It is obvious that this has to be done with materials that are harmless to the environment and health. Many insulation materials based on ceramic fibres, which can be damaging for one’s health are still being used.
The ERIKS Service Centres have a broad range of insulation materials available in the shape of cord (braided or turned), packing, (ladder) tape (also self adhesive) and cloth. These are, depending on type of fibre, suitable for temperatures up to 1000°C. These insulation materials can be used smoothly to insulate ovens, central heating boilers, chimneys, foundries and all other processes in which heat is released.
