Graphite

In her programme, ERIKS has a package of high quality graphite sheets from SGL Carbon GmbH. These products have excellent technical qualities. Examples of applications that would require this type of gasket are high pressure steam environment, and the chemical and petrochemical industries.

	RX® Egraflex SPG RX® Egraflex SPG datasheet (47kB)	Graphite sheet 98% reinforced with perforated SS insert. Universal material for (petro)chemicals. Used for high pressure and temperatures.
	RX® Egraflex GHE-PRO	Special tanged insert in Stainless steel 316. Avoids the use of adhesive. Gives higher chemical and mechanical resistance. Low emision. With TA-Luft certificate.
	RX® Egraflex GHE-AS	Same as GHE with anti-sticking treatment on both sides.
	Sigraflex HD	"Alternation of Expanded graphite and stainless steel layers. All impregnated with a high temperature resin. Both surfaces are treated against sticking. Recommended for high surface pressures or where small gasket width has to be used."
	Sigraflex HD-PRO	"Alternation of Expanded graphite and stainless steel layers. All impregnated with a high temperature resin. Both surfaces are treated against sticking. Recommended for high surface pressures or where small gasket width has to be used. Very low emision. With TA-Luft certificate."
	RX® Egraflex GTC	GTC is used where no metal insert is accepted, in the most cases for chemical resistance reasons.
	RX® Egraflex GTS	"Expanded graphite on a stainless steel foil of 0,05 mm. The steel reinforcement gives a good stability to cut gasket and prevents damage during manipulation. Not recommended for high surface pressures."
	RX® Egraflex NR	"Same as GTS but with a pure Nickel insertion foil 0,013mm thick. For high Chemical resistance. Recommended for Chlorine applications."
	Novaphit SSTC Novaphit SSTC (76kB)	"The special expanded metal insert gives a lot of improvements : lower values of porosity. more elasticity (good for variations of temperature) higher resistance in compression"
	Sigraflex MF	expanded graphite sheet (purity 99,85%) with 2 SS316 surface layers (thickness 0,05mm) and SS316 tanged insert. The SS316 surface layers are with Teflon® (PTFE) coating, thickness 50 µm. Gaskets with inner-eyelet  SS316. Very low emision with low surface stress. Conform TA-Luft.

	ring-IE	"Soft gasket protected by a metal jacket named ""eyelet"". Prevents erosion of the gasket material when turbulent flow is present. Can prevent diffusion of gas thru the  gasket material."
	RX® Egraflex MRG	"Steel ring covered with expanded graphite. Needs a very low bolt stress. Specialy for large dimensions."
